Quite a number of people prefer tea because of many health benefits that have been proven to be obtained from drinking it. There are many kinds of tea but they fall under five varieties:

So, try it! And if you hear someone offer you “Chai?” Say yes. Don’t worry. Chai is the same as tea in Hindi. Again, they just brew their tea differently (boiling of tea leaves instead of steeping) and there is nothing wrong with that.

  • Green Tea (quite beneficial for weight watchers)
  • Oolong Tea (smoothest tea to drink)
  • Black Tea (tea that has deep and rich flavor)
  • White Tea (most expensive and contains three times more antioxidants than green or black tea)
  • Pu-erh Tea (medicinal)
